Best of 2004 - Kapok Tree at Ta Prohm

Canon EOS Elan 7 Camera
Sigma 28-200mm f3.5-5.6 Lens
Fuji Velvia 100 film.

This tree is growing through the Khmer Ruins of Ta Prohm. It is part of the Temples of Angkor complex in Cambodia.
This photo was taken at sunset, a time at which the temple is normally jammed with tourists, but not this day. Maybe the 39 degrees Celsius had some thing to do with it.

I chose this photo as my submission for Photo Friday's "Best of 2004"
